This smart, innovative wine saver is clinically proven to remove the harmful oxygen from your wine, keeping it fresher for days, weeks, months. We say cheers to that, again and again and again!
This is a great compliment to our smart pour drinkware. So you can drink mindfully with no wine wasted.
No need to spend $200+ on complex electronic gadgets. This simple to use stopper means you can enjoy just a glass or two, without worrying about wasting good wine. You can now have several bottles on the go.
The Repour stopper is the easiest, most effective wine preserver there is. Invented and developed by Chemist and Founder Tom Lutz, Repour is the first of its kind to actively and continuously preserve original aroma and taste by eliminating ALL of the oxygen from your wine. No oxygen means your wine doesn’t degrade.
Instead of throwing out a bottle of wine that has gone bad, or messing with complex and ineffective vacuums, pumps, cartridges, batteries, and other contraptions, simply insert the Repour wine stopper in place of the bottle’s original cork, and preserve the wine for the life of the opened bottle. Your favourite wine, simply saved and perfectly preserved. Enjoy every glass.
"Just had a drink from a bottle of Pinot that we opened on Saturday and the two glasses I had were as tasty as the first two! So far small sample size but great results with the Repour wine saver. I have already passed out several samples to friends to try after I told them about it."
"The Repour stopper could be a game changer. Having worked with preservation systems for over 20 years, this product trumps everything else currently available in the marketplace in my view. I have been trialling Repour for the past 4 weeks, on numerous different varieties and on bottles from different countries. I have taken different amounts of wine out of each bottle to see if there was any impact on the quality of the wine dependent on the amount of oxygen in the bottle. In all cases the wine presented beautifully on opening. If anything the system works too well.. you need to allow some small time of air exposure again to freshen the wine. A great, simple and cost effective product that has a place in any wine lover’s home or in any commercial operation. This is a product for those who care about delivering a quality wine down to the last drop in the best possible condition."

"A friend of mine Bill from a Wine Tasting group that I have been in for quite a while suggested I test the repour wine saver. I have been drinking wine for 44 years, since I was 12 years old at home with my family. I really appreciate good wine. I have also done half a wine science degree from Charles Sturt University at Wagga Wagga and my parents at one stage owned a winery in Glen Aplin near Stanthorpe where I helped make some wine.
I decided to use the repour on a bottle of Saperavi that I had purchased from Ballandean Estate, Ballandean, Queensland that had a cork. I drank half the bottle of the Saperavi one night then left it with the repour cork for 2-3 weeks on a bench and then reopened it again. On reopening the wine tasted just as it had when I first opened the bottle. I was really surprised. I had read testimonials and watched a video but like a doubting Thomas I did not believe it until I had experienced it. I would recommend repour to anyone who has opened a good bottle of wine and does not finish it but would like to drink it later. It is really good.”
Can I use my Repour wine saver for more than one bottle?
Repour was carefully designed to absorb the oxygen of one bottle of wine, savoured over several glasses, over an extended period of time. If used on a second bottle, it may lose its oxygen-absorbing capacity before you are done with your bottle. So, when your bottle is done, so is the Repour stopper. To ensure effectiveness, start with a new Repour winesaver with each new bottle.
Does Repour change the taste or aroma of the wine?
Repour was designed to keep your wine just as fresh as when you first opened it, in both taste and aroma. So far testing of Repour on red, white, and rose wines by winemakers, sommeliers, and other experts indicate that indeed both taste and aroma are unaffected by the Repour technology. Because Repour so significantly decreases the amount of oxygen, the team at Repour is currently testing further on certain oxidative style wines such as Sherry, wines from the Jura, etc.
Do I need to let my wine “open up” again once I return for another glass?
Because Repour works so effectively to reduce the oxygen from the air space above the wine, and from the wine itself, it can be helpful to allow a moment for the wine to “open up” again when returning for another glass. A simple swirl, or even aeration may be helpful.
Purchase our crystal decanter for the perfect aeration.
What is the shelf life of an un-used (new) Repour stopper?
The simple answer is a minimum of two years. After two years, if you place the Repour stopper on a bottle of wine and use it through five glasses of wine, you may see sub-optimal performance on the fifth glass. If you do not require five full glasses of wine from the stopper, then it will easily last 3-5 years.
My Repour stopper seems to 'pop up' slightly on some bottles. How do I know if my bottle is securely stopped with Repour?
Repour was designed for a variety of wine bottle neck diameters. It was designed to have sufficient ribbing (on the rubber area of the stopper), which gradually broadens from bottom to top of the ribbing area, to ensure a proper seal on 99% of bottle neck diameters. Depending on your exact bottle diameter, sometimes the stopper will “rise” just a little before sealing, and that’s just fine. For a bottle to be sealed properly, you only need ONE of the ribs to fully contact the inside edge of the bottle neck. In the majority of cases, you will see multiple ribs sealing the bottle. On most bottles you can hold the bottle neck (with Repour stopper in it) up to the light and see the actual ribs that are in full contact — the rib lines will show fully widened to the outer edge of the bottle neck. So, go ahead and give it a good push, you can’t hurt the bottle. Now go ahead, and enjoy that wine.
